Lodge Cresson is an elegant three-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment on the first floor of a stylish building in Châtel. It can accommodate up to four adults and two children.

The entrance opens onto a charming open-plan living area, comprising a lounge, a dining table large enough for your whole group, and a fully-equipped kitchen.

There are two comfortable sofas and an armchair in the seating area, which is bathed in light thanks to the French doors, which open onto a covered, south-facing terrace.

There’s another dining table and a seating area on the terrace, where you can enjoy the views over a coffee.

Two of the bedrooms are double rooms with access to the terrace, and the third is a children’s room with bunk beds. One of the double bedrooms has its own shower room, while the others share a bathroom with a bath and WC. Separate toilets and a laundry area with washing machine and tumble dryer complete the accommodation.

Guests staying at Lodge Cresson have access to one outdoor parking space and a shared ski room.

About the area …

The chalet is in a peaceful location in Châtel, one of the 12 ski resorts that make up the Portes du Soleil ski domaine. The village is surrounded by four ski areas (Super-Châtel, Barbossine-Linga, Pré la Joux, and Plaine Dranse), with a total of 41 lifts and 45 pistes, catering for all ages and abilities.

While retaining its Savoyard architecture and charm, this small, traditional village has blossomed with the growth of tourism, and now offers all the amenities and facilities you'll need. These include a pool complex with several swimming pools and a wellness area, as well as a wide selection of gourmet restaurants, both in the centre and close to the slopes.

Outside the ski season, an extensive network of mountain trails attracts mountain bikers and hikers to the area. Adrenalin-seekers can take to the air on the “Fantasticable”, an oversized zip line that flies over the valley at 100km/h!

Geneva (1hr 30mins away) and Lausanne (1hr 10mins) are great options for day trips, as is the beautiful medieval village of Yvoire on the shores of Lake Geneva (1hr). You could also explore the charismatic Château de Chillon near Montreux (40mins).

Châtel is easily accessible from Geneva airport by car (approx. 90 minutes), train or bus. Helicopter transfers can also be booked!
